THE City Government of San Fernando, through its City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) and Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC), recently held a child and youth leaders' camp at the Epatha Development Center in Barangay Maimpis.

Some supreme pupil and student presidents from elementary and integrated schools in City of San Fernando, together with their parents, attended the event, which is an activity in line with the National Children's Month celebration.

The city government discussed issues that the youth and parents are concerned with, including regarding reproductive health, online sexual exploitation of children, digital parenting, and servant leadership.

The search for child and youth ambassadors was also staged, wherein Lenshei Fernandez of San Nicolas Integrated School and Kyla Sofia Simpauco of Pampanga High School, were named child and youth ambassadors.

The ambassadors will join the city government in its future children and youth related activities.
