CITY of San Fernando Vice Mayor Jimmy Lazatin has finally recovered from coronavirus infection.

In a video posted on the City Information Office's Facebook account on August 14, Lazatin was seen leaving the premises of a private hospital and being greeted by hospital staff and workers.

Lazatin thanked people who provided him with care during his battle with the infection.

He also extended his gratitude to people who have been praying and wishing for his swift recovery.

Lazatin is the second public official who announced his coronavirus status in July to help in contact tracing efforts.

Earlier, Candaba Mayor Rene Maglanque reported having recovered from Covid-19 after testing positive for the virus on July 18.
