City of San Fernando's active Covid-19 cases rise to 98

THE number of active coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in the City of San Fernando has risen to 98, as 18 new cases have been recorded, said the City Information Office (CIO).

The city now has the highest number of active cases in Pampanga, followed by Angeles City with 65 active cases as of August 13.

The total number of confirmed cases now in the City of San Fernando is at 165.

Of the number, 66 have already recovered while one had died, according to the August 12 bulletin of the CIO.

The city's positivity rate is at eight percent, while the recovery rate is at 40 percent.

Barangay San Nicolas has the most number of cases with 18, followed by Alasas (seven), Telabastagan (nine), Del Pilar (10) and Del Carmen (seven).

Of the 35 barangays of the city, 25 barangays all have active cases.
