Cops nab rape suspect in Candaba

ELEMENTS of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) and the Candaba police nabbed a suspect in the City of San Fernando early this week for alleged rape.

Reports identified the suspect as 37-year-old Nick David.

According to reports, elements of Pampanga 2nd PMFC, Candaba Base, received a call from officials of Barangay Bahay Pare that a rape incident transpired within their area.

Upon receipt of the report, elements of the company led by Force Commander Police Lieutenant Colonel John Clark proceeded to the place of the incident, resulting in the suspect's arrest.

Investigation revealed that around 6:30 p.m., the victim (name withheld) was walking along the street when the suspect came from behind her and touched her private parts.

When the victim refused, the suspect punched her and took her to Sitio 5 in Barangay Bahay Pare and allegedly raped her. Immediately after the incident, the victim was able to report to barangay officials.

The arrested suspect was brought to the Candaba Municipal Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.
