DOZENS of individuals who violated health protocols in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga were arrested by local authorities on simultaneous operations on Tuesday evening, June 22, 2021.

This city's chief of police Lieutenant Colonel John Clark said 33 persons were arrested for violation of the modified liquor ban.

Under Executive Order (EO) 11-2021 issued by Dennis Pineda, drinking alcoholic beverages in public places is strictly prohibited.

The arrested persons who were caught drinking liquor at different restaurants and food parks are now facing charges for Violation of EO 11-2021 in relation to Republic Act 11332.

Clark, meanwhile, also requested the review and revocation of permits of the establishments that were caught serving liquor to the City of San Fernando Incident Management Team for their possible closure.

"Covid-19 is no joke. I plead to my fellow Fernandinos to always practice the minimum health standards and be patient and be disciplined while we are still facing this pandemic. We will never tolerate any kind of wrongdoings," he said.
