DEPARTMENT of Agriculture (DA) Assistant Secretary for Agribusiness Kristine Evangelista and Jenra Grand Mall General Manager Byron John Siy led the ribbon cutting of the "Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita Agri Kart" at the Jenra Grand Mall's Farmer's Market on March 2.

The program aims to provide consumers with fresh, nutritious and high quality agri-fishery products at cheap prices. The DA also wants to help farmers and fishermen increase their income by selling their produce and products in available markets.

The opening of the program featured local products and harvests of 10 groups of farmers or Small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs) from the provinces of Pampanga and Nueva Ecija. Each has their own karts or kiosks where their featured products are displayed.

The 10 farmer groups or SMEs that participated in this program were Nutridelight Delicacies, Grann Garden Shop, Mama Jaque, Handpicked, DNC Herbal Medicine, Rose-Bitoy Salted Eggs, Ollies Footwear, Tiltilan Delicacies, JLP Integrated Farming, and Hunter Pottery Shop.

The program will run until March 15 and is open from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
