DA validates programs for Pampanga farmers

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO The Department of Agriculture (DA), through its Field Programs Coordination and Monitoring Division in collaboration with the Planning and Monitoring Evaluation Division, started the rounds of validation meetings for agri-programs in Pampanga this Tuesday, August 2.

The validation is for the first semester of 2022 and involves selected farmers from different municipalities of Pampanga.

According to Project Evaluation Officer II Anabel Mendoza of the Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Division, the objective of the activity is to interview 60 farmers from the provinces of Tarlac, Pampanga and Bataan.

"The objective of this validation is for our Field Monitoring Service to verify how the interventions that we have sent to our farmers are becoming useful, they will check how widely the benefits are being received by the farmers. farmers particularly rice, corn, and organic in Central Luzon," he said.

The activity is expected to last until Thursday.
