Danish national dies of heart attack

A FOREIGN national died of heart attack in their house in Barangay San Miguel, Betis, Guagua, Pampanga recently.

Lieutenant Manny Calma, Guagua police station chief, identified the victim as Mogens Rank, 53, a Danish national and presently residing at said barangay.

Calma said at 1:30 a.m. on April 3, the victim was taken to the Rosario Memorial Hospital in Guagua and at 3:10 a.m. was pronounced dead on arrival by Dr. Hazel Canlas.

He said that according to his fiancée Katherine Joy David, the victim arrived in the country last February 28, 2020 and stayed at their house.

Before the victim died, he was already suffering from cough and colds early morning of April 3, Calma said.

The victim died of heart attack as stated by the ER personnel. The victim’s cadaver was already tested for Covid-19 and waiting for results, he said. (Ric Sapnu)
