THE Department of Education Schools Division Office of the City of San Fernando is now International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 certified.

This was after being validated and confirmed by the DQS Philippines during the certification awarding ceremony recently.

The division office was recognized because of its commitment in implementing effective and efficient processes that focused on customer satisfaction and its programs were aligned with global standardization.

According to Dr. Ronnie Mallari, assistant schools division superintendent, this was the first time that the division office received an ISO certification.

“We are the sixth among 20 divisions in Region III that received the ISO certification. One of the factors in recognizing us was our project ‘superheroes in the classroom’ where we honored educators with exemplary teaching,” he said.

He said that the recognition will serve as an inspiration for them to do better in providing good quality of education.

“Rest assured that we will expand our delivery of services and strengthen our programs that are beneficial to everyone, the DepEd and of course the students,” he added.

Mayor Edwin Santiago lauded the DepEd personnel for their efforts and sacrifices, and for always aiming excellence.

Santiago also added that the city government is always willing to support the DepEd’s plans and programs since education is the administration’s top priority.

“I am with you in this journey and together let us give every Fernandino quality education,” he ended.
