DOH says Covid-19 deaths in Central Luzon rise to 762

THE number of Covid-19 deaths in Central Luzon have now reached 762, representing 3.4 percent of the total cases in the region, according to the November 27 report of the Department of Health (DOH).

The DOH said the total number of confirmed cases have now reached 22,387. Some 82.1 percent or 18,387 of these cases have already recovered. Active coronavirus cases in the region are now at 3,244.

Bulacan province alone is nearing its 10,000-mark with 9,329 confirmed cases, followed by Pampanga with 3,802 cases. Bataan province is at close third with 3,121 cases. Cases among chartered cities have also increased with Angeles City registering some 1,350 cases and Olongapo City nearing its 1,00-mark with 929 cases.

The DOH said most of the remaining active cases, some 1,141 are asymptomatic while 2,017 are exhibiting mild symptoms. Only 75 cases are listed as severe while 11 cases are currently in critical condition as of November 27.
