Dole-Central Luzon rewards honest employees

THE Department of Labor and Employment (Dole) in Central Luzon recently rewarded some of its honest employees.

The office gave recognition to three of its employees who have shown honesty by returning found items and cash.

One of the three employees awarded was Senior Labor and Employment officer Jelyn Abella, who found an enclosed envelope with cash worth P16,000 at the office parking space.

Meanwhile, Christian Jansen Garcia, office clerk, found P3,000 cash that was accidentally dropped by a client inside the regional office.

Antonio Dimitui, office janitor, found and returned various items left by both Dole employees and clients.

All three employees immediately reported and brought what they have found to Dole management, which, in turn, made necessary actions to be able to return the lost belongings.

Dole-Central Luzon chief Zenaida Angara-Campita awarded the three employees and recognized their simple acts of honesty as good examples to others.

As part of its commitment to uplift its own employees, the Dole regional office acknowledges its employees who are worthy of emulation.
