BALANGA CITY, Bataan -- The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Bataan distributed on October 29 tools to Shared Service Facilities (SSF) cooperators during the SSF Assembly.

DTI Provincial Director Nelin Cabahug said the additional tools worth about P23,000 were given to seven identified SSF cooperators who were assessed based on their needs and production.

"Upon our monitoring and evaluation, some of the SSF cooperators need these tools for them to increase their production," Cabahug said.

DTI Bataan distributed two wheelbarrows, three buckets and three spades to Samaleño Organiko Producers Cooperative (Sopco) and Capitangan Organic Farmers Marketing Cooperative; LPG tank and torch to Alangan Farmers Producers Association; digital price computing scales to Balanga Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Multipurpose Cooperative and Pilar Rural Improvement Club Multipurpose Cooperative; two drilling machines to Mabatang Broommakers and Vendors Association; and hand mixer to Alion Kapit-Bisig SEA-K Association.

Beneficiaries lauded DTI for its continuous support on improving their productivity in their respective industry.

"We are very thankful to DTI for all the help you have provided including all SSF equipment you have given us which will be very beneficial in our production," Sopco chairperson Lualhati Serrano said. (PIA)
