A FOREIGNER being sought by the law was arrested by authorities during a manhunt operation in Angeles City Monday afternoon, April 18, 2022.

Police Regional Office (PRO)-Central Luzon Director Brigadier General Matthew Baccay identified the arrested individual as Heejun Yang, 40, a South Korean.

Yang was reportedly staying at Widus Hotel, Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga when he was arrested by joint elements of Bureau of Immigration Fugitive Search Unit and Police Station 4 by virtue of International Police Red Notice for Special Larceny, Destruction and Damage of Property.

Yang was brought to Police Station 4 Angeles City Police Office for initial documentation and later turned over to the personnel of Bureau of Immigration for proper disposition.

“May this send a strong message to all those who continue to evade the law. Regardless of who you are, Central Luzon is not a sanctuary for fugitives and lawless elements,” Baccay said.
