GOVERNMENT employees, Covid-19 survivors, and common folk participated in the third rollout of the blood donation drive of the City Government of San Fernando and Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital for the year 2021.

During the drive held on July 29 at Heroes Hall, the donors expressed their support to the institutions’ continuous drive of providing a safe and sufficient supply of blood, which will be stored at the city’s blood bank at the state-run partner hospital.

The fourth edition of the donation drive, which will be jointly hosted by the City and Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of San Fernando, will be held this August, in time for the celebration of “Linggo ng Kabataan” and International Youth Day.

From July to December 2021, the City is targeting to collect at least 500 blood packs to cater to the blood needs of Fernandinos and folks from nearby areas. (PR)
