Guagua town monitoring children, relatives of CSF Covid patients

GUAGUA -- Health officers and barangay officials here are monitoring three children and relatives of two coronavirus patients from the City of San Fernando.

Mayor Dante Torres said that six individuals have been placed under close monitoring after becoming close contacts of the said patients. Torres said that the positive patients brought their children to relatives in one barangay of town to be cared for by their immediate family.

He said that the move of two patients have made those they have been in contact with from the barangay as close contacts. The children and the close contacts have been brought to health facilities here for swabbing and isolation.

Torres also added that a bank teller working in this town was also found positive for the infection. The teller is from Barangay San Antonio in Sasmuan town and was a close contact of another positive patient from San Fernando.

He said that the employee had been assigned to a health facility and all immediate contacts have been subjected to swab testing.
