GOVERNOR Dennis Pineda, Apalit Mayor Jun Tetangco, along with members of the Municipal Council visited the ongoing construction of the Don Honoria Ventura State University (DHVSU) satellite campus in Apalit.

DHVSU is the first state university in the town of Apalit. In 2019, a memorandum of agreement was signed between DHVSU, local government of Apalit and Candaba, and the Provincial Government of Pampanga for the construction of satellite campuses in the said towns.

The Municipal Government of Apalit provided P4 million for the personnel and operational expenses of the university, while the Pampanga Provincial Government pledged P25 million for the construction of the buildings.

Meanwhile, Tetangco and his wife donated the land on which the said university will be built.

Upon completion, DHVSU Apalit will open courses such as engineering, architecture, real estate management, logistics, business administration, and more to ensure a bright future for Kapampangan youth.
