Honest SM mall guard returns bag with P75K

NUEVA ECIJA A security guard at SM Megacenter Cabanatuan has returned a bag containing P79,735 cash, a smart phone and other valuables.

The mall management stated that it is very proud and grateful to SG Ryan Asuncion for returning the bag owned by a customer, Mary Joyce Rapsing a resident of Barangay Matawe, Dingalan Aurora.

Francis Nuega, Customer Relations Regional Manager of SM, commended the good deed of the guard.

He said amid the crisis brought by the pandemic, everyone is still committed to their duties and responsibility carrying the virtue of honesty and integrity.

"May this milestone be an inspiration to everyone to be a man honor and dedication in serving our beloved SM customers with honesty and malasakit. In behalf of SM management and the security agency we are very proud of SG Asuncion" Nuega said.

Asuncion came from middle class of family in Llanera, Nueva Ecija.

He has been working as a security guard with SM for almost five years under RJC Corporate Security & Service Inc.

Sheen Eugenio, public relations manager of SM Cabanatuan said "the good deed such as this exemplifies the commitment of SM Megacenter mall guards to SM’s corporate values of honesty and integrity.

She added that the company commends and encourages its employees to be a good example in the community.
