Bondoc to prioritize construction of roads

SAN SIMON -- Interconnection of roads will be the top priority of Fourth District Representative Juan Pablo "Rimpy" Bondoc for this town in the coming year.

Bondoc, in his recent meeting with village chairmen here, said interconnectivity of national, provincial, municipal and barangay thoroughfares are important to hasten the delivery of social services.

"Lots of roads will equate to faster delivery of goods from farms to markets and will allow for more inclusive governance. There will be no more isolated barangays as we will connect all areas to the town proper," he said.

Bondoc asked village chairmen to list the areas that must be prioritized, may it be for widening, upgrading, rehabilitation, or construction.

Bondoc said there will still be no sectors that will be left out as there are more projects in this town that are set for implementation next year.

Also set for implementation is the construction of a community hospital, public market and school buildings, he said, adding that scholarship grants and medical assistance will be sustained.
