PAMPANGA. Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo visits 21 bedridden Mabalaqueños in Barangay Duquit to extend financial aid and to also pray for them. Visiting them is part of the Banig ng Karamdaman Program. To date, 450 Mabalaqueños have been enrolled under the program, receiving P8,000 to P12,000 per year. A flagship undertaking, the social assistance program has been Garbo’s commitment to the sick, elderly and persons with disabilities since becoming mayor in 2017. (Mabalacat City Information Office)
