Korean national nabbed for abusing partner's daughter

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - A Korean national was arrested by authorities for allegedly hitting repeatedly his partner's daughter, a police official said.

Brigadier General Valeriano De Leon, director of the Central Luzon police, identified the suspect as Hun Kim, 41.

Kim was nabbed after his partner Lady Jane Delara reported the suspect's violent behavior to police.

According to Tipontipon, Kim was intoxicated during the incident and allegedly hit and punched her four-year-old daughter while onboard their vehicle.

De Leon said investigation revealed that last January, Tipontipon also filed a complaint against her partner for physical abuse, but it was not pursued.

Charges for Violation of Republic 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Children is being prepared for filing against the suspect. (SunStar Philippines)
