NUEVA Ecija Provincial Police Office spokesperson Senior Inspector Jacqueline Gahid captured the hearts of netizens after she helped a four-month-old baby girl from Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija, who is suffering from hydrocephalus.

Her story, along with a photo, appeared on SunStar Pampanga last September 20 where Gahid shared that she personally visited her beneficiary whom she does even know after learning about her situation.

She said she was touched by the bravery of the child and her parents in facing adversity, given the family’s financial incapacity to attend to the baby’s medical condition.

Gahid said she was assisting the family with their expenses together with her co-workers by giving groceries and conducting a fundraising activity for the baby's medication, and other needs.

The lady cop's compassionate and selfless act sparked hope among netizens, who all shared positive reactions towards the policewoman at SunStar Pampangas’s Facebook page.

A Facebook user named Minda Dula Linmayog said: "Glory to God, He is using each one to help the hopeless and the needy. God bless you, Lyn."

Other Facebook users commented: "thank you," "good job," and "salute to you Ma’am."
