LAUS Group of Companies Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Levy Laus on Monday, February 18 noted of the vital role of police officers in effective community-building.

Laus, who served as guest speaker at the Pampanga Police Provincial Office’s 28th founding anniversary on Monday, February 18, lauded police for their duty of maintaining peace and order which is critical in spurring progress and development in the community.

“Progress requires peace and order. In other words, police. For 28 years and more, you have been part of our mission in creating a safe, secured and progressive San Fernando and Pampanga,” Laus said as he spoke before local policemen.

As Chairman Emeritus of Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc., Laus also noted of the trust and confidence of the private sector in doing business in the province due to strict law enforcement and peace and order in the area.

“As a member of the private and business sector, I can attest to our good relationship with the police for the many years of serving and protecting the community. I can personally say that they are deserving of our trust and confidence,” he said.

Laus also took the opportunity to express his deepest gratitude to the Philippine National Police for their contribution in the development of Pampanga through the faithful performance of their duty of serving and protecting the Kapampangan community.

“We owe you a deep sense of gratitude that we can never repay. Saying thank you will never be enough but we know that the community is grateful to the whole police, and we are one with you in celebrating your founding anniversary,” he said.
