Mabalacat City records 10 new Covid-19 cases

THE Mabalacat City Government has recorded 10 new cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) as of October 22, 2020.

The new cases are in Barangays Camachiles, 1; Dapdap, 2; Dau, 1; Dolores, 1; Lakandula, 1; Mabiga, 2; Sapang Biabas, 1 and Tabun, 1.

The local government has conducted contact tracing and set the swab testing of the patients' close contacts.

The City Health Office reported 150 active cases with 314 recoveries and one death.

The total number of Covid-19 cases in the city has already climbed to 465 as of October 22, 2020.

The City Government, under the leadership of Mayor Cris Garbo, appealed to the residents to cooperate and support the fight against Covid-19.

"Magkaisa at magtulungan po taong lahat na labanan ang Covid-19," the local government stated.

It also advised the people with flu-like symptoms to visit the nearest hospital or medical clinic for proper examination.
