Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) head Jaime Castillo announced this during the recent graduation rites of more than

200 students in various technical courses like baking and pastry, bartending, barista, foreign language, and housekeeping from this city.

The Tesda official assured that the agency provides funds to LGUs and entities implementing skills training program.

He lauded the city government under the leadership of Mayor Cris Garbo for its programs to provide livelihood and employment to the people of Mabalacat.

Castillo said the graduates will receive the National Certificate or NC II which local and foreign companies look for when hiring employees.

Many individuals who completed Tesda courses put up their own businesses and are now successful businessmen.

“We are happy whenever we learn about successful people who completed technical courses under Tesda programs,” he said.
