Mabalacat police offer free rides to commuters

THE Mabalacat City police have allotted one of its service vehicles to provide free rides for the residents of the city.

Lieutenant Colonel Soledad Elefanio, city police officer in charge, said this is one way of helping the people during the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic.

"It is a simple way of helping people and establish a good rapport to the community," the city police stated.

Minimum health standards are being followed to prevent the spread of the virus, the local police assured.

Aside from this, the city police are also visiting different villages and providing food packs to selected residents in line with the Philippine National Police Barangayanihan food assistance program.
