Magalang town logs 3 Covid-19 deaths

THE Municipal Government of Magalang in Pampanga recorded three Covid-19 deaths on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

Two of the fatalities were from Barangay San Francisco and the remaining one resides in Barangay San Isidro.

These brought the total number of Covid-19 deaths in the town to 90, as of September 15.

The Municipal Health Office also reported 17 new cases of coronavirus and six recoveries.

Some 1,410 residents had contracted Covid-19 since Day 1 of the pandemic.

Mayor Romy Pecson said 1,158 of the cases recovered from the virus. This figure represented 81.70 percent of the total number of persons who contracted the virus.

The mayor appealed to his constituents to continue practicing health protocols to prevent infection.
