Magalang's most wanted drug peddler nabbed in Angeles

MAGALANG -- This town's most wanted drug pusher was arrested by the Angeles City police on Thursday, September 13.

Superintendent Kenneth Vega, deputy city director for operations of the Angeles City police, identified the suspect as Rosvy Cruz, 30, of 311 San Pedro II Magalang town.

Vega said that Cruz was tagged as Magalang town's Top 6 drug personalities.

The suspect was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the city police office's intelligence branch.

Vega said Cruz is engaged in illegal drugs trade in the city and nearby places including Magalang and Mabalacat City.

Apprehending policemen seized shabu and marked money from the suspect, who is now detained and facing raps for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.

THREAT. According to a Capitol consultant, the Cebu City Government is threatening to shut down the Cebu North Bus Terminal at the back of SM City Cebu (left) and the Cebu South Bus Terminal along N. Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit. The Province, which runs both terminals, maintains that it operates the facilities as a public service for passengers going to the province and vice versa. /
