Man nabbed for alarm and scandal

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Elements of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) led by Police Lieutenant Colonel John Clark arrested Policarpio Galang, 58, for alleged alarm and scandal in a patrol over the weekend.

The arrest was carried out by Patrolman Renz Fajardo and Patrolman Clarvin Mendoza, both assigned at Mabalacat Patrol Base Pampanga of the 2nd PMFC located at Tabun in Mabalacat City.

The PMFC reported that while conducting mobile patrol, the operatives chanced upon a commotion and caught the suspect in the act of shouting and cursing violently. The suspect was believed to be under the influence of intoxicating liquor.

The suspect had a fight with another unidentified male person before the incident, the report added.

Responding officers asked the suspect to calm down but he instead continued shouting profane words and started becoming physically violent.

The suspect was immediately apprehended. A body search on the him resulted in the confiscation of one Colt caliber .45, along with one magazine with six live ammunition. The gun was tucked on his waist.

The suspect and all confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Mabalacat City Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.
