Man nabbed for illegal guns, explosives

OPERATIVES of the Pampanga Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) recently arrested a resident of Mexico town for alleged ownership and possession of loose firearms and explosives.

The PMFC led by Superintendent Michael Masangkay arrested the suspect identified as Benigno Bingco during the implementation of a search warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 46 in the City of San Fernando.

Recovered during the operation conducted in Bingco’s residence in Barangay Laput here were an Intratec 9mm luger, a .45 caliber pistol, a hand grenade and several live ammunitions which were all undocumented.

Bingco is now facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591 otherwise known as the illegal possession of firearms and explosives, and Commission on Elections gun ban.
