Man nabbed for firearms, ammunition

ELEMENTS of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), led by Police Lieutenant Colonel John Clark, arrested Jonel Villanor, 31, in his home in Magalang town for possession of alleged loose firearm and ammunition.

Clark said their team searched the house of Villamor by virtue of a search warrant issued by Branch 57 Presiding Judge Omar Viola of the Third Judicial Region in Angeles City for violation of Presidential Decree 1866 (Unlawful possession of firearms).

The suspect was at his house in Barangay San Isidro when the search warrant was served.

The operation resulted in the suspect's arrest.

Seized from Villamor was a caliber .38 revolver along with six pieces of live ammunitions.

Villamor and the seized pieces of evidence were brought to Magalang Muncipal Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.
