Marijuana peddler nabbed in PDEA operation

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - A suspected peddler of marijuana was arrested in an anti-illegal drug operation launched in Limay, Bataan by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Central Luzon and Limay Municipal Police Station.

PDEA-Central Luzon director Lyndon Aspacio identified the suspect as Alvin D. Quico, 20, and resident of Sitio Tanke, Barangay Luz, Limay, where he was arrested.

Aspacio said Quico is included in PDEA target-list and known as bulk seller of marijuana in Limay and nearby towns.

Seized from Quico were six medium self-sealing transparent sachets, six small self-sealing transparent sachets containing 90 grams of marijuana with an estimated street value of P10,800 and the drug bust money used in the operation.

The suspect will be detained in PDEA jail facility, in Diosdado Macapagal Government Center, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. Violation of section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 will be charged against the suspect.
