Mayor calls for unity for 'Bayung Arayat'

ARAYAT -- Re-elected Mayor Emmanuel Alejandrino has called for unity among fellow government officials to achieve the common goal of renewing and further developing Arayat.

Alejandrino, who bannered the "Bayung Arayat" movement as he assumed the local chief executive post in 2013, cited the importance of cooperation of public officials and constituents in the success of his administration's political agenda.

"Sa aking huling termino, sana ay magtuluy-tuloy ang ating pagkakaisa at ang kooperasyon sa bawat isa para sa isang matagumpay at masaganang Bagong Arayat," he said.

Alejandrino also urged fellow newly and re-elected officials to altogether set aside their political differences and be one in their mission of leading Arayat into a more progressive and livable town.

"Isang araw lang ang eleksyon at narinig po natin ang desisyon ng taumbayan at sana ngayon ay magkaisa na tayo sa pagsisilbi sa kapwa Arayeteño at sa atin bayan," he said.

On his third and last term, Alejandrino said he has slated programs and projects that are aimed at sustaining and further boosting the economic activity of this town that translates employment and other opportunities for the locals.

He also noted of the continued maintenance of peace and order in the town that not only provides security for residents, but also invites businessmen to invest in the municipality.
