Mayor leads Mexico town clean-up drive

MEXICO Mayor Teddy Tumang led this year’s Municipal Clean-Up Drive as part of the local government unit’s contribution to environmental protection.

The program is aimed at promoting awareness on conserving and protecting the environment among its government personnel and the public.

Tumang was assisted by the Sangguniang Bayan members of Mexico during the Municipal Clean-up Drive 2022.

This initiative is part of the town’s Manila Bay Clean-Up Rehabilitation and Preservation Program.

Tumang encouraged every Mexicano to participate and be part of this endeavor to protect and save mother earth.

“Let’s keep Mexico Clean and Green,” SB Committee Chairperson for Environment councilor Susana Site Siron said.

The said activity was spearheaded by the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office. Philippine National Police-Mexico, BFP Mexico, and other local government offices.

All barangays in the town also conducted their respective regular clean-up drives simultaneously.
