Mayor offers P100,000 bounty for info on stabbing suspect

A 20-YEAR-OLD man died after he was stabbed by a still unknown individual in Barangay Balucuc, Apalit, Pampanga.

According to witnesses, the victim, identified as Joel Gonzales, was stabbed in the neck around 11 p.m. while he was alone in the road.

The assailant immediately sped away from the crime scene while the victim tried to seek help by riding his motorcycle. The victim, however, eventually collapsed and died on the road.

The assailant remained at large as of Tuesday, February 23.

With this, Mayor Oscar Tetangco Jr. offered P100,000 for any legitimate information that could lead to the identification and arrest of the assailant.

Tetangco sought for the immediate solution of the case to provide justice for the victim and his family, and to prevent further disturbance in the town's peace and order.
