Mexico town's top wanted person nabbed

THE most wanted personality of Mexico, Pampanga was finally put behind bars after he was arrested in Barangay Sto. Niño in the City of San Fernando on October 25.

Pampanga Police Provincial Office Director Colonel Robin Sarmiento identified the arrested person as Ronald Bautista, 53, a resident of Barangay Parian, Mexico.

Sarmiento said Bautista is facing charges for qualified theft and has been in hiding for about 10 years.

He was nabbed by virtue of an alias warrant of arrest issued by Third Judicial Region Branch 47 Presiding Judge Edgar Chua.

Bautista is being held at Mexico police station while pertinent documents are being prepared pending his presentation to the court of origin.
