Minalin town logs zero active Covid-19 cases

ANOTHER municipality in Pampanga was able to clear all its active coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases.

As of Sunday morning, December 5, 2021, Minalin town logged zero active Covid-19 cases, according to data from Pampanga Information Office.

In its Facebook page, the town’s health office credited the development to the continuous vaccination drive and observance of health protocols among its residents.

As of Thursday, it noted that it has already given first dose of vaccination to some 71 percent of the target population, while some 50 percent of it has already received full immunization.

Meanwhile, the total confirmed Covid-19 cases in this town were 799, and 748 of these have already recovered and 51 died.

Aside from Minalin, the municipalities of Apalit and Sasmuan also had zero active Covid-19 cases as of Sunday.
