Missing Covid-19 patient found

THE coronavirus disease (Covid-19) positive patient who was initially reported missing was found in the City of San Fernando.

This was confirmed by Macabebe Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer Jomel Cruz, saying the patient was located in a private subdivision in Barangay San Isidro here.

On March 23, the patient, a resident of Barangay San Jose in Macabebe town, was referred to Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital (JBL-MGH) by a private hospital he sought consultation to due to Covid-19-like symptoms.

However, the patient reportedly insisted Home Against Medical Advise and seven days after, his test results came back positive for Covid-19.

The patient was declared missing by the local government of Macabebe since he did not attempt to come back to the municipality and was since unlocated.

The patient was reportedly brought back to JBL-MGH and was admitted there for proper medications, while his housemates were also reportedly brought to the hospital for check-up.
