Nanay urges fellow leaders to unite for Pampanga

FORMER governor Lilia “Nanay Baby” Pineda has urged her fellow elected officials to continue uniting for the province of Pampanga.

Pineda made the request during a mass oathtaking ceremony for incoming officials in the province, including herself as new vice governor, her son Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, and representatives of the province’s four congressional districts.

She also asked elected officials to set aside political differences and misunderstandings during the elections and work together for the development of their respective cities and municipalities.

The outgoing governor also urged his son, who will take her position starting today, to emulate her programs for the interest of the Kapampangans.

As the new vice-governor of the province, Pineda assured Kapampangans that she will continue working to develop Pampanga and improve the quality of lives of every Kapampangan.

She also expressed gratitude to her fellow elected officials and the employees of the local government for the fruitful nine years of serving the province.
