P1M worth of drugs seized in Sto. Tomas

A POLICE operation launched in Sto. Tomas town, Pampanga on Saturday, May 1, 2021, yielded over P1 million worth of suspected illegal drugs.

The said illegal drugs were seized from two suspects identified as Rotessa Recana and Christopher Tupaz, both of Makati City.

Seven pieces of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) weighing 150 grams with an estimated street value of P1.02 million were recovered from the suspects.

The duo will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
