P340,000 worth of drugs seized in San Fernando

MORE than P300,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized during a recent buy-bust operation launched in the City of San Fernando.

Pampanga Police Provincial Office Director Colonel Arnold Ibay said the illegal drugs were recovered from a certain Alexis Sebastian, 30, tagged as Regional Priority Street Level Individual, and John Oliver Herrera, 32, both of Barangay Calulut, City of San Fernando.

A total of 11 sachets of substance believed to be methampethamine hydrochloride (shabu) weighing 55 grams and with an estimated value of P340,000, and other paraphernalia were yielded by the accused.

The duo are now facing charges for violation of Section 5 and Section 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, which will be filed before the Provincial Prosecutor's Office.
