CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (PamCham) president Rene Romero has expressed his optimism of the next two years of the current administration in Pampanga, stressing the local economy is doing well.

Romero said the Build, Build, Build programs in Pampanga would surely have a ripple effect on the province's growth, giving ease on traffic and accessibility in major development areas.

Romero said the surge in the number of private construction projects, malls, fast food chains and private businesses in Pampanga and Metro Clark area also heralds the ongoing developments.

He said while the development is mainly private sector led, government played a vital role in the development of industries in Pampanga.

The business leader also said that the next two years will show the effects of all preparatory infrastructure projects undertaken by government.

As for the business sector in general, Romero said PamCham is currently working closely with the Clark Investors and Locators Association and the Metro Angeles Chamber of Commerce and Industry to further streamline the ease of doing business for investors wanting to invest and those who have invested in industries and businesses in the Metro-Clark area.
