PAMPANGA Governor Dennis "Delta" Pineda on Friday, February 4, 2022, credited to the Kapampangan's cooperation the recognition award of the province as the 7th most competitive province in the country.

The award, which is set to be given by the Department of Trade and Industry on the Central Luzon Competitiveness Summit set on February 10 via Zoom, is based on the national results of the 2021 Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index that gauged all the 81 provinces in the country.

The rankings are based on the sum of their scores on 4 pi -- Economic Dynamism, Government Efficiency, Infrastructure and Resiliency.

According to Pineda, the recognition is a product of the continuous cooperation of Kapampangans to the guidelines, programs and projects of Filipinos.

"Lahat ng pagtutulungan ng mga nanunungkulan at ng lahat ng Kapampangan nandito po lahat sa award na ito. Hindi po ito dahil lang sa trabaho ko na ginawa kundi sa ating lahat," he said.

The governor expressed gratitude to fellow officials and Kapampangans for the unity everyone is showing, especially amidst the pandemic.

He vowed to continue working, along with the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan led by Vice Governor Lilia Pineda, to bring progress to the province.

"Sisikapin po namin na ayusin pa ang serbisyon para bumuti ang buhay at kabuhayang ng mga Kapampangan," Pineda said.
