Pampanga active Covid cases down to 1,150

THE total number of active coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Pampanga is now down to 1,150, with only 28 additional infections recorded on Thursday, February 17, 2022.

The Department of Health’s (DOH) official coronavirus tracker showed that Pampanga has a total of 87,671 confirmed cases with 84,691 recoveries.

Covid-19 deaths in the province stood at 1,830 cases.

Pampanga reported 654 Covid-19 cases in the last 14 days, while Angeles City reported 172 cases for the same period.

Fifteen people succumbed to the disease in the last 14 days.

Majority of the 45 health facilities in the province are now experiencing a decrease in the number of bed occupancies.

The rate of occupancy in Central Luzon is currently at 11.1 percent, the lowest yet since the omicron variant surge. This means that 1,171 of the total 1,317 hospital beds in Pampanga are currently available.

Forty-three health facilities in Pampanga are currently in the safe level with the continued decrease of cases.
