Pampanga active Covid cases now at 72

ACTIVE coronavirus cases in Pampanga have again significantly increased to 72 with additional 14 new cases recorded cases on June 16, Thursday.

The Department of Health’s (DOH) official coronavirus tracker places that total number of confirmed cases in Pampanga since the start of the pandemic to some 88 590 with 86,662 recoveries.

Coronavirus-related deaths in Pampanga have not increased from the 1,856 recorded cases since last month, according to the DOH.

Pampanga has reported some 60 coronavirus cases in the last 14 days, while Angeles City reported another 25 cases for the same period.

No virus-related death was recorded in the last 14-days.

Majority of the 45 health facilities in the province are now experiencing slight increase in the number of bed occupancies.

The rate of occupancy in the region is currently at 3.7 percent, slightly higher than previous months. This means that 26 of the total 673 hospital beds in Pampanga devoted for corona virus cases are currently occupied.

Some 39 health facilities in Pampanga are currently in the safe level despite the slight increase of cases.
