Pampanga coops get P2.2-M equipment

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - Four cooperatives recently received various equipment from the Department of Trade and Industry Region III (DTI-3).

The project is under DTI’s Shared Service Facility (SSF) Program which seeks to boost the production of cooperators in the country.

Among the beneficiaries is Pink Ladies MultiPurpose Cooperative in Candaba Pampanga. It was awarded P304,900 worth of tools and equipment for their fresh and processed meat business.

The Organic Producers and Livelihood Association of Mabalacat also received tools and machines amounting to P565,900.

The Organic Farmers MultiPurpose Cooperative in Arayat town and Lambac MultiPurpose Cooperative in Guagua town were also given various equipment worth P661,100 each.

The beneficiaries were chosen after passing a rigorous assessment by the DTI-3 SSF Regional Technical Working Group (RTWG).
