AN ANTI-ILLEGAL drug operation conducted by the Pampanga Police Provincial Office (PPPO) yielded more than a million-peso worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) in Bacolor town.

PPPO Director Colonel Andres Simbajon said the illegal drugs were seized from two suspects identified as Nornihaya Hadjijalal, who has been tagged as a high-value target, and her nephew, Nabil Dacula.

Simbajon said the police asset was able to transact a sachet of shabu in exchange for a marked money with the suspect inside their residence in Xevera Subdivision.

"The arrest of the suspect immediately followed and further inspection also revealed two more medium sachets of suspected shabu, aside from the small sachet that was the subject of sale," Simbajon reported.

A total of 200 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P1,360,000 and other personal belongings were recovered from the suspect.

Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, are being prepared for filing against the suspects.
