Pampanga Covid-19 cases breach 8,000 mark

THE total number of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Pampanga had breached the 8,000 mark with some 8,028 cases reported by the Provincial Government of Pampanga over the weekend.

The total number of active cases is currently at 510, while the recoveries remain at 7,089. Some 429 deaths have been recorded in the entire province since the start of the pandemic.

Capitol data showed that at least 15 more active cases were recorded as of February 27. Most of active cases in Pampanga are in Angeles City with 137, City of San Fernando with 87, Mabalacat City with 118, Guagua with 30 and Lubao with 23.

Sasmuan and Santa Rita towns are the two municipalities that have been coronavirus-free since last week.
