Pampanga Covid-19 cases now at 7,131

THE number of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Pampanga has breached the 7,000 mark, with 7,131 confirmed cases as of January 16, according to a bulletin of the Pampanga Provincial Government.

Since the start of the pandemic, Angeles City recorded the most number of confirmed cases at 1,757, as of press time. This is followed by the City of San Fernando with 1,504 cases and Mabalacat City with 992 cases.

The number of active cases out of the 7,131 confirmed cases in the province are currently at 624 cases, mostly from Angeles City (137), Mabalacat City (87), Floridablanca (24), Guagua (27), Lubao (33), Mexico (33), City of San Fernando (147), Apalit (27), Minalin (24) and Magalang (14), among others.

The report claimed that 6,136 people have already recovered from the disease in the province, while 371 have died.

Angeles City has the most number of reported deaths at 107 cases, followed by City of San Fernando with 65 cases.
