Pampanga Covid-19 cases now at 8,563

CONFIRMED coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Pampanga have reached a total of 8,563 cases, according to the latest bulletin from the Provincial Government.

Of this number, 7,402 cases have since recovered, while 714 are still active.

Pampanga also reported a slight increase in the total number of deaths, which is now at 447.

For March 17 alone, 39 new cases were recorded all over Pampanga.

While more than a dozen local government units report zero number of new active cases, considerable active cases are still concentrated in Pampanga's major cities.

Some 137 cases are still active in Angeles City with another 165 in Mabalacat City.

In the City of San Fernando, 162 cases are still active as of March 18, 2021, along with 21 active cases in Apalit, 35 in Porac and 32 in Guagua town.

Sasmuan town is the only locality with zero number of active cases in the past five days.
