Pampanga hits 5,018 Covid-19 cases, 239 deaths

THE Provincial Government of Pampanga reported 239 cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) deaths and a total confirmed case of 5,018 as of November 23, Monday.

Of the confirmed Covid-19 cases, 4,171 have already recovered while 608 are still classified as active cases.

On November 3 alone, 20 new cases have been recorded from different towns and cities in the province. Angeles and San Fernando cities have also breached their 1,000 mark.

Angeles City has the most cases at 1,294; the City of San Fernando has 1,006 cases; and Mabalacat City has 624 cases.

The City of San Fernando has recorded a total number of active cases at 183, while Angeles City has 173 active cases.

The towns with the highest number of active cases include: Magalang - 20 cases, Guagua - 25, Porac - 21, and Mexico - 25.

Meanwhile, several towns have experienced a considerable slowdown in the number transmissions. Zero case was reported on November 23 in San Luis, Santa Rita, Sasmuan, Arayat, and San Simon.
